He Won! Yay!!!!!

May 14, 2011 I took a short road trip to Cocoa Beach, Florida to support my younger brother in a car show.  Mike Kelly's Beach Blast happens once a year with around 280 classic cars in attendance, Timmy (who hates to be called Timmy as he's all grown up now and has become "Tim", yeah right, lol) was in this particular show with his 1961 Chevrolet Impala and he won best of show, YAY!!!!  I'm so proud of him!  This is not the first win, he has restored a few cars, a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS and a 1971 Chevrolet C10 truck which have also won best of show in previous Beach Blasts and other shows.  Here's a few pictures of some of the cars that caught my eye, Timmy's being the first!  Enjoy : )

Beadshow shopping today!

Really had a nice shopping trip at the AKS beadshow in Jacksonville today, they have the best assortment and the best prices.  I always spend way to much!  But they only come a few times a year. : )

More pictures of my progress.  I can do about 15 rows a night, and there's 200 rows, whew!

I've started this crochet technique I call "Graphic Crochet", I'm not real sure what it's suppose to be called.  So far I've made one, with cats on it in orchid and purple, turned out beautiful (like I knew it would) and now I'm making one with  a horse.  I've taken a few pics of half way, just so you'll know the process, and so you can see how tedious this can be.
